(as a somehow useless sidenote - bandom is a subfandom for real person fiction, rpf/s, dealing with certain group of bands mostly centered about one label, and as far as i know it does have a pretty big russian group of fans. it works a bit different from actors or, say, footballers rps, and there's indeed some sort of more or less accepted canon - band timelines, articles, acknowledged relationship, twitters, blogs etc. it's way more flexible, and basically you get to pick and choose your canon based on your narrative preferences rather than other way around, but it exists).
following our previous conversation, i'm interested in прозрачен и невеществен, since i feel it's one of these things that mark fanfiction as it is - lesser density of the background world, maybe, i don't even know. if you'll have time, try the uncharted sea? it's basically a fantasy/steampunk novel, it has very interesting, varied worldbuilding and couple of intertwining plots, and yet it feels to me that the weightlessness is still here.
