aha! i'm so glad you liked it! nick is many things at once, but i was pleased at how my feelings about him did a neat little flip at the reveal and settled into exact place, and everything started making sense. my heart is given to alan forever, though, moreso in further books :)
ffa is easy! you need to find a nearest open post with comments (right now it's this one, but i think by the time you wake up they'll move up on next, and then comment on it anon, starting a (titled) thread. basically, every post is like a separate forum, and all conversations happen in threads.
